Wines of the Night
Vivid red. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red berries, baking spices and potpourri; hints of candied rose and rhubarb emerge with aeration. Juicy black raspberry and boysenberry flavors slowly stretch out and become sweeter and deeper on the back half. Shows excellent clarity and floral thrust on the impressively persistent finish, which is supported by harmonious tannins that fold quickly into the lingering, sappy fruit.
The 2016 Reserve Pinot Noir is pale to medium ruby-purple in color with blackberry and bramble berry jam on the nose plus cinnamon stick, nutmeg, oolong tea and underbrush notes. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with ripe, dark fruits, with a great frame of grainy tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing long and spicy.
Medium ruby in color with a hint of purple, the 2016 Pinot Noir Marjorie Vineyard is scented of raspberry jam, cinnamon stick, black cherries and cardamom with notes of autumn leaves and porcini mushroom. Medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with dark fruits and spicy/earthy accents, held together with fine, firm tannins and mouthwatering acidity, finishing long and spicy.
