Rude Jude Angelini & 2015 Saint-Joseph
Wines of the Night
2015 Julien Cecillon Saint-Joseph "Babylone" ($30)
Earthy, herby, peppery, our muted, rocky, black fruit. More of the same on the palate with chalky muted tannins.
2015 Ferraton Saint-Joseph "La Source" ($32)
Black raspberries, cassis, red currants, licorice and graphite all emerge from this full-bodied beauty that has sweet tannin and a stacked mid-palate. It will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and drink well for over a decade.
2015 Ferraton Saint-Joseph "Paradis" ($60)
Black raspberries, dried flowers, spice box and hints of pepper all emerge from this full-bodied, seamless, incredibly elegant, seamless 2015. It grows on you with time in the glass, has gorgeous granite character, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 15-20 years.
