As Vice President of Kerner Entertainment, Ben is Executive Producer of The Smurfs film franchise, including its sequel and upcoming third installment. Ben also conceived, developed and co-produced the musical feature Across the Universe, featuring the songs of The Beatles. A native of Long Island, New York, Ben graduated from Northwestern University and got his master’s degree from The Peter Stark Producing Program at USC. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife of 12 years, Laurie Barnes, and son, Brody.
A screenwriter and producer, Tom has developed numerous film and TV projects for movie studios and networks, including Paramount, 20th Century Fox, ABC, Dreamworks, Columbia Pictures, and New Line Cinema. Along with his co-writer and brother Tim, Tom wrote the upcoming Fox movie Vacation Friends, starring Ice Cube. Tom has a degree in journalism from The University of Montana, and began his writing career as a reporter for The Associated Press. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Ashlee.
After a ten-year Wall Street career where he served as Executive Director at JPMorgan, Scott is currently a restaurant consultant and CEO of No Roof Restaurant Group, which owns Wood & Vine in Hollywood, Spin the Bottle in Toluca Lake, and Sangers & Joe in Pasadena. Born in Australia, Scott has spent many years living and working in Asia, Europe and the U.S. He is also a treasurer and board member of the Los Angeles Youth Network, a non-profit focusing on homeless youth in Los Angeles.
